新型コロナウイルスの影響により、バンコク・パタヤでは既に娯楽施設が一時閉鎖となっています。今回、バンコクではそれに加えて他の商業施設にも閉鎖命令が出た模様です。パタヤニュースに記事が出ています。
The Prime Minister of Thailand Prayut Chan-O-Cha announced additional restrictions in a press conference to the the country an hour ago. The following closures ONLY apply to Bangkok. Provincial governor’s however may extend the closures to their provinces at their discretion. These will take effect on Sunday, March 22.
Bangkok closes all non essential shops, beauty salons, non fresh food markets and stops dine-in at restaurants effective Sunday due to Covid19 concerns until April 12
タイのプラユット首相が記者会見で追加の制限事項を発表。今回の閉鎖はバンコクのみに適用。しかし、知事の裁量により閉鎖が延長される場合がある。これらは3月22日、日曜日から有効となる。
その後、バンコクのアサウィン都知事から発表がありました。閉鎖の期間は2020年3月22日から4月12日まで。人々は自由に動き回れるので「ロックダウン」や「シャットダウン」ではないと強調しているとのことです。
記事の中に閉鎖施設のリストがありました。
1. Restaurants (allowed to offer take-out and delivery only)

2. Shopping malls (allowed to open only their supermarkets, drugstores and stores selling essential items, restaurants for take-out and delivery)
3. Dining zones in convenience stores
4. Markets (allowed to open only stalls selling fresh ingredients, dried food, take-away food, animal feed, medicines and other essential items)
5. Salons and barbers
6. Body piercing and tattoo shops
7. Venues for skating, rollerblading and similar activities
8. Amusement parks, bowling alleys, arcades
9. Gaming and internet cafes
10. Golf courses and driving ranges
11. Swimming pools
12. Cockfighting rings
13. Amulet markets
14. Exhibition and conference centers
15. Schools, colleges, universities, childcare and tutoring centers
16. Beauty clinics
17. Spas
18. Pet grooming shops and pet hotels
19. Massage parlors
20. Saunas
21. Cinemas and theaters
22. Gyms
23. Entertainment spots (pubs, bars, nightclubs, etc.)
24. Boxing arenas and schools
25. Sport arenas and stadia（stadiumのことか？）

数え切れないほど挙げられています。実質、ほぼ全ての施設が閉鎖となるといっても良いでしょう。これに合わせて今月いっぱいまでとなっていた娯楽施設も閉鎖が延長されることとなりました。
これらに違反した場合は禁錮刑や罰金が科されるとのことです。
前回、ナイトライフ業界の閉鎖はバンコクから始まり、他県も同様の動きをするに至りました。今回の閉鎖はパタヤでも行われることが予想されますね。
街の大半を閉鎖というとんでもない事態になってしまいました。タイでは、新型コロナウイルス感染者がこの1週間で約5倍近くに急増、その大半がバンコクで確認されています。
感染の広がりを食い止めるにはこれぐらいのことをしないと意味がない、と考えてのことなんでしょう。国を挙げての行動に出てきています。
このような事態の時、私も含めてついつい「自分は大丈夫だろう」と思いがちです。今回の決定事項からは「危機感を持て」と強く働きかけているのが見て取れます。
他国がこれだけの動きをしているのですから、日本で感染者を増やすわけにはいきません。それを肝に銘じ、常に危機感を持った行動を心がけていく。これが今の我々に求められることではないでしょうか。
